Blood:Water Mission

Blood:Water Mission is a grassroots organization that empowers communities to work together against the HIV/AIDS and water crisis.

I am choosing to make water my only beverage for 40 Days beginning February 17 until April 3 to help Blood:Water Mission provide clean water for people in Africa who don't have a choice. I've given up soda already as part as my One Year Veg experiment, but for the 40 day period I'm even giving up coffee and tea... Nothing but good old H20.

By giving up what I would normally drink in exchange for water, I can save that money to help build clean water projects for communities in Uganda.

I won't need an ark for this 40 Days of Water, but I will need a little self-discipline and maybe a few friends to join Me. Ditch the $4.00 latte, skip the Mountain Dew, and give up the beer. If you want to partcipate, Visit Blood:Water Missionto get started.

Thanks for joining us for 40 days of Water! We are encouraged by your post and we are excited about the journey of 40 days and what that will mean for us and for our friends in Northern Uganda.

Thanks for sharing your story!

Hmmm, I'm thinking about it.
40 days?
Maybe I'll just do it.
So, you've given up pop AND coffee. Wowza, Steve!
